Accessibility Commitment

FOIA Friend is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for everyone, including people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience and applying the relevant accessibility standards to ensure our tools remain usable for all citizens.

Conformance Status

We target the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities. This statement was last reviewed on 2026-04-24.

Known Limitations

• The Request Map page renders as a horizontally scrollable tile grid on small screens; the region list below it is the accessible equivalent and is the authoritative way to reach every jurisdiction by keyboard.
• Some agency records display imported contact data that has not yet been human-reviewed. These records are labeled with a "pending review" indicator; treat contact details as unverified until reviewed.
• We don't run automated accessibility checks on every deploy yet. We run manual keyboard and screen-reader checks before major releases.
